What drivel. This man is an embarrassment.
One thin September soon
A floating continent disappears
In midnight sun
Vapors rise as
Fever settles on an acid sea
Neptune's bones dissolve
Snow glides from the mountain
Ice fathers floods for a season
A hard rain comes quickly
Then dirt is parched
Kindling is placed in the forest
For the lightning's celebration
Unknown creatures
Take their leave, unmourned
Horsemen ready their stirrups
Passion seeks heroes and friends
The bell of the city
On the hill is rung
The shepherd cries
The hour of choosing has arrived
Here are your tools

Who Will Denouce Sen. "Dirty" Harry Reid (D-NV)
So Senator "Dirty" Harry Reid (D-NV) compares opponents of health scare reform to proponents of slavery.
Come on.
I am waiting for one Democrat to disassociate himself or herself from this statement. I invite that one Democrat to do so here by posting a comment.
You do not have to give up your support for health scare reform in order to denounce this. By the way, you are not allowed to say something like, "BUT the big bad Republicans said so and so." It only counts if your denouncement is unconditional.
I'm waiting.
So far, all I hear are the crickets.

Where Do I Turn Myself In?
According to the President, during a speech at MIT on October 23, 2009, I would be among "those who cynically claim -- make cynical claims that contradict the overwhelming scientific evidence when it comes to climate change, claims whose only purpose is to defeat or delay the change that we know is necessary."
He goes on to say, "So we're going to have to work on those folks."
As quoted here, Congressman Alan Grayson (D-FL) said last week, "Fox News and their Republican collaborators are the enemy of America." Well, I don't speak for Fox News, but I hold a elected Republican office, so I must be a collaborator. "They ARE the enemy," Grayson said.
President Obama called Grayson an "outstanding (member) of Congress."
It is clear enough to me that I am, by the standards of the Democrat party, an "Enemy" or at least an "Enemy Collaborator" that needs to be "worked on."
Where do I turn myself in? These are serious charges, of which I am obviously guilty.
I want my day in court.

On Al Green and ACORN
Is Al Green giving a campaign issue to any potential opponent?
If you don't know about the ongoing controversy with ACORN, stay tuned to this blog. Just google ACORN if you need to find out right now.
From what I can gather from this website, Congressman Al Green (D-TX 9) and State Representative Garnet Coleman spoke at an ACORN Health Care Rally on September 3rd of this year. I am currently looking for more information about that event.
Congressman Al Green voted against the motion in the House on September 17th to defund ACORN. (The vote was 345-75.)
What else would Congressman Green like us to know about his association with ACORN?

On Keith Olbermann: Send Me Everything You Have
In response to the Van Jones incident, and the fact that Glenn Beck now has others on his radar, Keith Oblermann (he of MSNBC) has decided how to respond.
No, he is not going to try to defend Jones or refute Beck's arguments. That would be what a real man would do.
Instead, he has posted on the Daily Kos blog that he wants the liberal cretins who read the blog to "send me everything you can find about Glenn Beck." He also wants dirt on Roger Ailes as well as, get this, Beck's radio producer Steve "Stu" Burguiere. Why Oblermann does not want anything on Beck's best friend and new radio "co-host" Pat Gray, I don't know, but I am sure that's just an oversight.
This can only mean the Obelrmann wants to go after Beck personally, presumably to destroy him. Hey, Keith, are the man's wife and family off-limits? Isn't this the sort of politics of personal destruction that those on your side whine about? Last I checked, Beck is a private citizen (like you) who does not hold any governmental or political office, while Van Jones and his ilk are indeed government officials that need to be held responsible for what they have done and said.
I spent some time looking through the vile comments to Olbermann's post. One of the idiots actually wrote that Burguiere "is a soft spot just waiting to be poked and prodded." What the hell is that supposed to mean? Is "Stu" in physical danger now, or will they just dig up all his personal information on a fishing expedition? I remind you: "Stu" is a private citizen!
There is no sense to this, no sense at all. I have only one reaction.
Send me everything you have on Keith Olbermann. I intend to destroy his career. Yes I do, along with thousands of others that are now motivated to act. If you have anything, post it as a comment to this blog. I am going to set something up to follow up on this, stay tuned.

On Van Jones and Glenn Beck
"Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones' employment in the Obama Regime won't survive the holiday weekend. I am not alone in that prediction.
What did Glenn Beck have to do with this? Nothing.... and everything. The things that Beck has been saying for weeks have not moved the issue. Now, however, it has come out that Jones is a "9/11 Truther." That's too much for some in the media that are now calling for Jones to resign or be fired. Note, however, in the link above the Kansas City Star can only characterize Beck as a "radio shock jock."
It appears that Beck was right about Jones at least as far as his character was concerned. Now, can we ask all of those chicken liver companies that are boycotting Beck's show to reconsider? After all, Jones was a founder of the colorofchange.org group that is behind the boycott.
If Beck was right about Jones, what else is he right about? Yes, I do think that Beck is over the top sometimes (entertainingly so), but I do believe that there is something to most of what he is trying to say. A recent Beck tweet seems to indicate that Cass Sunstein, Mark Lloyd, and Carol Browner are on his radar screen. According to the Washington Independent, "They are, respectively, the nominee to head the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, the Associate General Counsel and Chief Diversity Officer of the FCC, and the Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change." Perhaps they all need to update their resumes.
